More From Stan Treger

Today, many investors remain hesitant to invest in crypto, citing risks such as legal uncertainty and volatility, as a single social media post can affect the price of a crypto. Still, its growing value demonstrates that a segment of the population is indeed investing in it. In this research, I sought to examine why some people may--or may not--invest in crypto over traditional assets such as stocks. Specifically, I explored whether a set of psychological variables predicts people's intention to purchase crypto and stocks in the next month.

In this research, I explore people's perceptions of the behavioral interventions designed to help them save for retirement. This allows us to assess public sentiment of these interventions and gain insight into the trade-offs people face when addressing important financial decisions.

How can advisors help their clients calmly and thoughtfully evaluate when to buy? We believe that proper framing--how advisors describe market volatility--can play a beneficial role.

Our generation Z research offers a glimpse into the saving and investing perspectives of the newest crop of professionals.
