Joachim Kotze

Joachim Paul Kotze, CFA is an equity analyst for Morningstar Holland BV, a wholly owned subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc. He covers the European aerospace and defense sector.

Before joining Morningstar in 2019, Kotze was employed at Rootstock Investment Management in Malta, where he was a global equities analyst performing quantitative and fundamental research and helped to formulate the firm's investment process. Previously, he was at Sanlam Investment Management in South Africa for five years as a buy-side analyst.

Kotze holds a bachelor's degree in commerce, financial management from the University of South Africa. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
