Jeremy Glaser: Earnings season may be winding down, but we will get reports from several media companies this week.
Disney is moving closer to completing its purchase of 21st Century Fox and will release earnings on Tuesday. Analyst Neil Macker sees shares of the wide-moat company as undervalued ahead the report.
Macker also sees value in Viacom, which is set to report on Thursday. Other earnings include News Corp and Discovery Communications.
Snap will release earnings on Tuesday. Shares of the firm are down over 15% year to date as user growth slows down and as questions continue to circle about the ability to monetize users over the long haul.
CVS Health is trading in 5-star territory today. Analyst Vishnu Lekraj believes that if the firm is able to close its acquisition of insurer Aetna, it will become one of the most powerful players within the healthcare space. Results are due Wednesday.
Compared to last week, it's quiet on the data front, with job openings and the consumer price index being the highlights.
