Company Profile

CSR is an Australian building materials company. It produces plasterboard, bricks, roof tiles, insulation, fiber cement, aerated autoclaved concrete, and a variety of complementary building products. CSR started producing building materials in 1942 and manufactures recognizable brands like Gyprock plasterboard, PGH bricks, Bradford insulation, Monier roof tiles, and Hebel aerated concrete panels. It also holds a 25% effective interest in the Tomago aluminum smelter in a joint venture. Property development of surplus and excess land is also a key valuation driver.
