INOX Introduces Smart Multipoint Trim with Slim Architectural Design and Advanced Access Control Capabilities

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- INOX, a leading provider of architectural door hardware and security solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of the Smart Multipoint Trim, a commercial-grade exterior mortise lock trim that transforms conventional multipoint locking systems into fully integrated smart access devices. The INOX Smart Multipoint (ISMP) seamlessly integrates advanced electronic access capabilities with a refined, slim escutcheon profile suited for modern architectural applications.
The ISMP provides a practical upgrade path for existing door systems by enabling remote locking, unlocking, and credential management. Compatible with most multipoint lock configurations, this smart trim retrofits compatible 92- and 85-millimeter Center-to-Center American multipoint hardware. European-profile multipoint locks are supported by an included tailpiece cylinder adapter. Engineered as a retrofit solution, the Smart Multipoint converts both lever-high and lever-low multipoint locks into fully integrated smart access systems without requiring complete lock replacement.
Designed for use across upscale commercial, hospitality, and residential environments, the Smart Multipoint is particularly well-suited for applications where aesthetics and performance must coexist. From luxury residential entryways and multifamily developments to wineries and event venues, this lock enhances the visual appeal of double door openings while providing advanced access management functionality. The ISMP is available in nine standard finishes and seventeen solid stainless steel levers.
If required by the existing locking mechanism, a simple and intuitive lift-to-lock action mechanically secures upper and lower vertical locking points. This action also enables Touch-to-Lock, which electronically engages the deadbolt for added security. The ISMP delivers enhanced security with intuitive operation and offers a choice of four mechanical locking functions. Users can securely manage smartphone, RFID, and passcode credentials while monitoring activity from anywhere with a Wi-Fi gateway.
"The Smart Multipoint Trim reflects our commitment to delivering solutions that combine advanced access management with refined architectural design," said Qianyan Cheng, Co-founder and Vice President at INOX. "We developed a system that not only upgrades existing multipoint doors with smart capabilities, but also meets the demanding expectations of designers and property owners who require both performance and a clean, modern aesthetic."
The Smart Multipoint Trim complements INOX's broader portfolio of smart locking solutions, including mortise, cylindrical, interconnected tubular, smart glass door locks, and more. Together, these products provide a holistic solution for access management, enabling consistent design, scalable control, and improved operational efficiency across residential, commercial, and hospitality environments.
