Dedicated dive computer helps divers of all experience levels easily access key data and simplifies gear rentals
OLATHE, Kan., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Garmin (NYSE: GRMN) today announced Descent™ X10, its newest dive computer that provides divers with critical dive information at a glance. With an easy-to-read 2.1-inch backlit screen, divers can quickly see their depth, time, oxygen levels and more from their wrist. Whether in the dive pool or the open ocean, divers can choose from multiple dive modes to support their different pursuits, then use the Garmin Dive smartphone app to seamlessly log and track it all. New, colorful bezel guards (sold separately) add customizable style and help divers keep track of their device. What's more, dive shops and schools can use the new rental mode to easily configure the device to match each diver's skill level.

"Clear, accessible dive data can make all the difference under water. Descent X10 brings that essential information to the wrist, along with trusted dive features and a durable design, helping divers stay aware and supported from their first class and beyond."
–Susan Lyman, Garmin Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing
Designed for every dive
- Readable display: From harsh sunlight on the boat to dimmer conditions under water, the always-on, high-contrast 2.1-inch display, large text and backlight make it easy to see dive data.
- Multiple dive profiles: Descent X10 offers scuba, apnea and gauge dive modes, providing divers with the most relevant data they need front and center – all on a 10 ATM dive-rated device.
- Rechargeable battery: Get up to 50 hours of dive time before having to charge again. The battery can also last up to 6 months in standby mode.
- Garmin Dive smartphone app: Automatically upload dive logs, tag locations, track gear usage and more after every dive.
- Device simulator: Gain familiarity with Descent X10 before entering the water by pairing the computer with the Garmin Dive App to simulate full dives and practice for real scenarios.
- NDL Aware™ depth metrics: Divers can extend their bottom time and see how specific depth changes can impact their no-decompression limit (NDL) in real time.
- Setup sharing: Those who want to dive with a backup device can sync settings across multiple compatible Descent dive computers.
Make a splash
Change the look of Descent X10 from dive to dive with new replaceable bezel guards (sold separately). With a variety of colors to choose from including Amp Yellow, Aqua, Purple Iris and Black, these plastic bezel guards add a pop of personality and an extra layer of protection. Along with the included silicone band that fits over a wetsuit, Descent X10 is compatible with optional QuickFit® bands that come in a wide variety of colors. Descent X10 also supports the dive environment it's built for—100% of the housing and bezel are made with recycled ocean-bound plastics.
Rental mode
Descent X10 is also designed to simplify the process of renting dive computers for dive schools, dive shops and charter operators. With rental mode, the computers can be set up to match diver skill levels and quickly reset between uses. And with the option to add colorful bezel guards, it's easier to keep track of rental inventory.
Available now, Descent X10 has a suggested retail price of $349.99. To learn more, visit garmin.com.
