Katie Rowen appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
Rowen brings deep experience in governance, strategic transactions, litigation, compliance, enterprise risk, government relations and sustainability. She joins us from Vontier, where her responsibilities grew from Chief Legal & Sustainability Officer to also include Chief Administrative Officer and, most recently, Chief Transformation & Operations Officer. She previously held legal and compliance leadership roles at Fortive and Raytheon.

"Johnson Controls has an extraordinary opportunity to help shape what comes next for society," said Rowen. "At a time when so much depends on reliable, energy-efficient thermal technology, the work this company does matters deeply. I'm excited to join the team and work alongside my colleagues to help deliver for customers and realize the growth potential ahead of us."

Shauna Latshaw appointed Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Latshaw brings more than 25 years of enterprise information and data technology leadership across global industrial organizations. She joins Johnson Controls from Caterpillar and will lead the company's enterprise AI and data technology strategy, including systems and infrastructure, customer-facing digital tools and cybersecurity.

"What drew me to Johnson Controls is the opportunity to solve hard problems for our customers and make a meaningful impact," said Latshaw. "Data technology is most powerful when it simplifies work, helps people make better decisions and turns improvements into measurable results. I'm excited to listen, learn and work alongside our teams to understand how we can accelerate growth and win with customers."

Together, the appointments strengthen the leadership team as Johnson Controls focuses its deep technology expertise and unmatched field presence on helping customers in data centers, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, advanced manufacturing and higher education operate with the precision and resilience they require, while reducing the energy intensity that comes with them.
