PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 22, 2026
PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- On behalf of GoPro, Inc. (NASDAQ: GPRO) shareholders, securities litigation firm Kaskela Law has launched an investigation into the fairness of the recently announced proposed merger of GoPro and privately held Starman Optical, Inc. ("Starman").

On September 1, 2026, GoPro and Starman announced that the two companies had entered into a definitive merger agreement. In connection with the proposed transaction, GoPro shareholders are expected to receive $1.14 per share and will maintain ownership of approximately 10% of the outstanding shares of the combined company.
Since the announcement of the proposed merger, shares of GoPro's stock have declined in value from over $2.00 per share to a current trading value of less than $1.10 per share, a decline of 45% in value.
The investigation seeks to determine whether GoPro investors will be receiving sufficient financial consideration for their shares, and whether the company's officers and/or directors breached their fiduciary duties or violated the securities laws in agreeing to the merger transaction with Starman.
GoPro shareholders are encouraged to contact Kaskela Law (D. Seamus Kaskela, Esq. or Adrienne Bell, Esq.) for additional information about this investigation and their legal rights and options at (484) 229 – 0750.
