DETROIT, Oct. 22, 2026
DETROIT, Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- DTE Energy (NYSE:DTE) today released its 2025 Sustainability Report, the company's annual publication detailing progress toward its ongoing work to generate cleaner, more reliable and affordable energy for the people and communities it serves.
"We're making meaningful progress for our customers and communities across Michigan – improving reliability, advancing cleaner energy, while keeping bills as low as possible," said Joi Harris, DTE president and CEO. "We will build on that progress as we work to end coal use in 2032 and deliver a cleaner, reliable and affordable energy future for Michigan."
Over the past year, DTE has worked to strengthen the grid and improve reliability for customers through sustained investment in smarter infrastructure and advanced technology. The report also highlights the company's work to expand renewable energy. DTE now operates 20 wind parks and 34 solar parks across Michigan, generating enough energy to power more than 900,000 homes – while keeping customer bills below regional and national averages and connecting customers to nearly $125 million in energy assistance.
DTE's Sustainability Report focuses on the issues most important to customers and community stakeholders, while providing access to more detailed information across key topic areas. This year, the report further strengthens its approach by incorporating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aligning DTE's work with a globally recognized framework for sustainable progress. The report also continues to leverage established reporting standards, including the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) and American Gas Association (AGA) ESG/Sustainability templates, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
