  • Milestone reinforces company's commitment to U.S.-based manufacturing, expanded production capacity and customer-focused growth

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- AXN Automotive Systems, a member of global mobility leader Randoncorp, has received United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) certification for axle products made at its Louisville, Ky., facility, marking a significant milestone in the company's continued investment in U.S.-based manufacturing and its ability to serve customers throughout North America.

The certification confirms that AXN's Louisville-produced axles meet USMCA regional content and manufacturing requirements, providing customers with confidence in sourcing high-quality products backed by a reliable North American supply chain.

"This certification is more than a designation; it validates the investment we've made in our people, our facility, and our manufacturing capabilities here in Louisville," said Renato Franco, Managing Director of Randoncorp - USA. "Our customers want dependable products, reliable delivery and strong U.S.-based manufacturing partners. This achievement reinforces our commitment to delivering on all three."

The milestone follows AXN's recent expansion into its new Louisville manufacturing facility in spring 2026. The nearly $15 million investment, to be completed over the next decade, is designed to support long-term growth and increased production capabilities. The facility is capable of producing up to 100,000 axles annually and serves both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and aftermarket customers.

AXN manufactures axle systems for a wide range of trailer applications, including dry van, refrigerated, and flatbed trailers, providing customers with additional solutions from a trusted supplier.

The company currently employs about 60 people at its Louisville operation and expects to grow its workforce in the coming years.

"We're building more than axles in Louisville," Franco said. "We're building a long-term manufacturing operation with the people, capacity and capabilities to support our customers for years to come."
