Q3 Agreements in Phoenix, Dallas, Chicago, Boise, the San Fernando Valley and the New York-Connecticut Suburbs Extend Sola's Multi-Unit Growth
DENVER, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sola Salons, the world's largest salon studio suite concept and home to more than 22,000 independent beauty and wellness professionals, is closing out the third quarter with 22 new units signed across six markets, its strongest quarter for franchise signings in three years. The agreements include new franchise partners in Boise, Phoenix, Dallas, Chicago, and Westchester County, New York and Fairfield County, Connecticut, as well as a sixth location for existing franchisees in the San Fernando Valley.

"Independent professionals build their own small businesses inside our studios every day, and the owners signing with us are betting on that model in markets from Boise to Chicago," said Elliot Baldini, Chief Operating Officer of Sola Salons. "This is our strongest quarter for signings in three years, driven by the strength of our model, continued demand for independent beauty and wellness businesses and the infrastructure we've built to help franchise owners scale. Our focus now is helping these owners open strong and grow from there."
The brand's Q3 development activity reflects demand from both new and returning franchise partners. New agreements include:
- Michael Gioioso and Daniela Troia, new Sola franchisees who signed a two-unit agreement in Boise, Idaho
- Martin Zomaya, a new Sola franchisee who signed a six-unit agreement in Phoenix, Arizona
- Lynell and Dante Norton, new Sola franchisees who signed a six-unit agreement in Dallas, Texas
- Romi and Becky Bose, new Sola franchisees who signed a four-unit agreement in Chicago
- Jake Wasserstein, a new Sola franchisee who signed a three-unit agreement across Westchester County, New York and Fairfield County, Connecticut
- Jeff and Meghan Wallace, existing Sola franchisees who signed an agreement for their sixth location in the San Fernando Valley, California
The Phoenix and Chicago agreements highlight continued growth opportunities for Sola in established, highly developed markets, even with a system approaching 760 locations across North America.
Sola also continued to expand its operating footprint during the quarter with four new openings in New York, California and Michigan. In New York City, Karl Baumert opened his fourth Sola location in Flatiron. In San Luis Obispo, California, Brett and Shawna Bortolussi and Shay Stevenson opened a new studio, while Dan, Kwanthai and Nikole Karraker opened their second Sola location in Salinas, marking the brand's 145th studio in the state. Kevin Lent and John Platten also opened their ninth Sola location in Livonia, Michigan, bringing Sola to 21 studios in Michigan and 759 locations systemwide, with eleven new locations opened this year alone.
As Sola looks ahead to the close of 2026, Sola continues to prioritize expansion with multi-unit operators in high-demand markets, where territories remain available for qualified franchise partners.
