SINGAPORE, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Babylon Labs and HashKey Cloud today announced that HashKey Cloud will integrate Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV) to provide native Bitcoin-backed borrowing and yield services.
TBV enables Bitcoin holders to use native Bitcoin as collateral for borrowing through Aave v4, without wrapping, bridging or centralized intermediaries. This connects the Bitcoin ecosystem with Ethereum's lending liquidity, giving holders access to stablecoins and other supported assets.
For HashKey, the integration offers a way to make native Bitcoin productive at an institutional scale. HashKey clients will be able to borrow against their native Bitcoin and deploy the borrowed stablecoins into yield strategies.
The integration builds on HashKey Cloud's existing role in the Babylon ecosystem.
Fisher Yu, Co-founder of Babylon, commented: "Institutions in Asia want to put their Bitcoin to work through counterparties with regulatory status and an operating track record, and HashKey Group has both. Through this integration, HashKey Cloud will play a core operational role in TBV, bring native Bitcoin credit to its institutional clients and help to drive Babylon's adoption in Asia. Our trustless, self-custodial design enables regulated institutions to use native Bitcoin as collateral and retain title."
Leo Li, CEO of HashKey OnChain, stated: "This is more than just a technical integration; it is a major step forward in integrating Bitcoin into the institutional financial system. We are thrilled to partner with Babylon to transform native Bitcoin into a productive asset that can be borrowed and deployed, unlocking new yield opportunities for institutional clients."
Further details on the integration timing and partnership will be shared in the coming months.
