SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- MasterClass, the streaming platform where anyone can learn from the world's best, today announced the launch of Other People's Business, a weekly audio and video podcast hosted by David Rogier, founder and CEO of MasterClass.

Each episode gets underneath a business—from hip-hop and poker to storytelling and weddings—to find out how the money moves, how decisions get made, and what's really going on underneath it. Every episode feels like a conversation you weren't supposed to hear.
"Whenever I don't understand how something works, I want to find the person who does and ask the questions people usually don't ask," Rogier said. "The real answer is almost always more interesting than the official story. That's the show."
Rogier isn't the expert. He's the one who knows what to ask. As founder and CEO of MasterClass, he has spent more than a decade in conversations with some of the most accomplished people in the world. Other People's Business takes that curiosity somewhere different: into the questions most people are too shy to ask about business.
Early guests include:
- Martha Stewart on influence
- Stanford Graduate School of Business professor Jeffrey Pfeffer on power
- Former FBI hostage negotiator Chris Voss on crisis negotiation
- PwC consumer markets leader Ali Furman and Jefferies analyst Sheila Kahyaoglu on GLP-1s
- Pastor and church economics author Mark DeYmaz on megachurches
- Professional poker player Daniel Negreanu on poker
- Journalist and author Malcolm Gladwell on writing
Other People's Business will launch with two episodes. New episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays on Apple, Spotify, YouTube, and everywhere podcasts are available.
