New specialization builds on Huntington's existing reinsurance trust platform and decades of experience serving captive insurance clients

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Huntington National Bank today announced the expansion of its captive insurance banking capabilities, further strengthening Huntington Commercial Bank's ability to provide comprehensive financial solutions to captive insurance companies and other alternative risk transfer structures.

The expanded capabilities build on Huntington's existing work with captive insurance clients and its growing reinsurance trust platform. The specialized team helps captive insurance clients manage collateral needs through solutions such as letters of credit and reinsurance trusts, while connecting clients to the broader Huntington platform.

With this expansion, the bank is bringing additional specialization, leadership and coordination to better support captive insurance companies of varying sizes, including global captives seeking streamlined access to banking, collateral and risk-management solutions.

"We've served captive insurance clients for decades, and this expansion reflects our continued investment in specialized capabilities that meet increasingly complex client needs," said Andy Arduini, senior managing director of Global Specialty Products at Huntington. "By combining experienced people, a strong platform and Huntington's balance sheet, we're positioned to deliver a more comprehensive model for clients across the captive insurance industry."

The expanded offering will be led by Jordan Mosher as head of captive insurance banking. Mosher previously helped build Huntington's reinsurance trust vertical and will work with leaders across Global Specialty Products to bring an end-to-end approach to the market. Joe McDonald will serve as managing director and support the continued development and delivery of the bank's captive insurance solutions.

"Captive insurance companies need partners who understand the industry, can move with speed and certainty, and can deliver collateral solutions as part of a broader banking relationship," Mosher said. "Our goal is to make it easier for clients to access the solutions they need through one coordinated team."

The expansion is the latest example of Huntington Commercial Bank's continued investment in specialized industry expertise. In addition to expanding into new geographic markets, Huntington Commercial Bank in recent years has launched a broad range of industry verticals and strengthened its national capabilities to serve clients across the country.
