SUGAR LAND, Texas, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAOI) ("AOI"), a leading provider of advanced optical and HFC networking products that power AI, today announced that it has completed its previously disclosed $600 million "at-the-market" equity offering program (the "ATM Program").

AOI disclosed on August 21, 2026 that it filed a prospectus supplement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to offer and sell shares of its common stock having an aggregate offering price of up to $600,000,000. The Company sold a total of 5,694,845 shares at an average sales price of $105.36 per share, representing proceeds to the Company of $587,999,985.89, net of commissions and fees.

The Company currently intends to use the net proceeds from the ATM Program for general corporate purposes, which may include, among other things, debt repayment, working capital, and capital expenditures, primarily in support of its manufacturing expansion efforts for data center optical devices.
