LANCASTER, S.C., Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nutramax Laboratories Veterinary Sciences, Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of Consil™ Matrix and Consil™ Matrix Topical Cream. Designed for use in dogs, cats, and horses, the new products mark an expansion for Nutramax into new categories of veterinary care through its relationship with SiOxMed®.
Consil™ Matrix
Consil™ Matrix is an extracellular matrix-inspired wound care product composed of amorphous silica-based microfibers. It gives veterinary professionals an additional option with its scaffold architecture to help control bleeding and support tissue repair. The Consil™ Matrix silica-based structure supports fibrin deposition and promotes clot stabilization. As a collagen-inspired healing scaffold, Consil™ Matrix helps maintain moisture balance, support a protective wound environment, and support tissue integration and vascularization during the wound repair process.
Consil™ Matrix is a multilayered device, allowing layers to be separated as needed to achieve the appropriate amount for application. Its design conforms easily to wound beds and irregular anatomy.
