New York-born wing brand strengthens Northeast footprint while expanding into Texas, Ohio and South Dakota
NEW YORK, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Atomic Wings, the New York-born wing brand known for its fresh, never-frozen wings and bold flavor lineup, continued its national expansion in the third quarter, opening eight new restaurants across five states.

The new restaurants include:
- Fresh Meadows, New York
- Manhattan, New York
- Hoboken, New Jersey
- Jersey City, New Jersey
- Houston, Texas
- Leander, Texas
- Cleveland, Ohio
- Rapid City, South Dakota
The openings mark another major step in Atomic Wings' expansion, with the brand experiencing close to 100% growth in system size this year. The third-quarter growth reflects Atomic Wings' continued focus on building density in its home region of New York and New Jersey while expanding its reach into markets across the country.
"We're continuing to grow where our roots are strongest in New York and New Jersey, while also bringing Atomic Wings to new communities across the country," said Zak Omar, CEO of Atomic Wings. "For us, growth has always been about finding the right markets and the right operators while staying true to the quality and authenticity that have defined this brand from the beginning."
The third-quarter openings build on Atomic Wings' broader 2026 expansion strategy. Earlier this year, the brand outlined plans for significant growth across its core New York and New Jersey markets as well as Texas, Ohio, Illinois, Minnesota, South Dakota and other regions.
Atomic Wings' development pipeline remains active heading into the fourth quarter, with additional restaurants planned in markets including Columbus, Ohio; Turnersville, New Jersey; Manhattan, New York; Chicago and Joliet, Illinois; Little Rock, Arkansas, and Minnesota.
As the brand continues to scale, Atomic Wings remains focused on sustainable growth, strong franchise partnerships and preserving the authentic New York identity that has powered its growth for more than three decades.
