Verified Care Professional feedback reflects strong satisfaction, advanced training and a clinical workforce model built for specialized Dementia and Parkinson's care
PEEKSKILL, N.Y., Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Angels on Call Homecare has been named a 2026 Best of Home Care Employer of Choice, recognizing exceptional satisfaction among its Care Professionals and reinforcing the agency's commitment to developing a highly trained, clinically supported homecare workforce.
The Employer of Choice designation recognizes homecare agencies earning high marks from verified Care Professional feedback and outperforming local competitors in workforce satisfaction.
Angels on Call's Proof of Quality results included 93.6% for Recommend Employment, 93.6% for Training Received, 93.7% for Office Support Staff and 92% for Client/Caregiver Compatibility.
Its Caregiver Satisfaction Benchmark Report also showed Angels on Call outperforming national industry averages in Recommend Employment, Training Received, Office Support Staff and overall Combined Average.
For Angels on Call, the recognition reflects a broader philosophy: exceptional homecare requires more than filling schedules. It requires developing professionals capable of supporting increasingly complex needs in the home.
"The homecare industry cannot keep asking people to deliver increasingly complex care while treating them like interchangeable labor," said Eric J. Dalton, Vice President & Visionary of Angels on Call Homecare. "If we want to raise the standard of care, we have to raise the standard of how we prepare, support and invest in the people delivering it. A Care Professional supporting someone living with advanced Dementia or Parkinson's disease needs knowledge, confidence, clinical support and a pathway to mastery. The standard of care can never rise higher than the standard by which we develop the people providing it."
That philosophy is reflected in specialized workforce education including Angels on Call's Memory Care Angel (MCA) training program, designed to prepare Care Professionals for the complexities of Dementia care, as well as education and training for direct-care staff supporting individuals living with Parkinson's disease through the Parkinson's Foundation Community Partners in Parkinson's Care (CPPC) program.
The Parkinson's Foundation curriculum emphasizes practical strategies that can directly influence daily care, including the importance of medication timing, safe and effective mobility support, and the patience, empathy and understanding necessary to support people living with Parkinson's with dignity.
Behind that frontline education is a clinical leadership team with advanced Dementia and Parkinson's training and certifications. Angels on Call's RN case managers provide clinical oversight, ongoing education, case consultation and support to Care Professionals helping translate specialized knowledge into individualized care inside the home.
"Strong culture has to be supported by strong systems," said Robert Dalton, CEO & CFO of Angels on Call Homecare. "Training, clinical leadership, communication, recognition and thoughtful client matching are investments in both our workforce and the families who depend on us. This recognition is meaningful because it comes from the experience of the Care Professionals doing this work every day."
The award adds another layer of independent validation to Angels on Call's growing model of specialized Dementia, Parkinson's disease and aging-at-home care across New York's Hudson Valley.
