Flosonics Medical announced a development contract, valued at up to $70 million, with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), part of the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The contract includes initial funding of approximately $15 million and supports FloPredict, an AI-enabled software enhancement to the company's FDA-cleared FloPatch device, extending the company's real-time ultrasound technology into trauma care and mass casualty response.
Exact Imaging delivered 166% year-over-year revenue growth in its first 12 months following a strategic transition from a single international distribution model to a direct sales and expanded distribution network approach. The company also strengthened its North American direct sales team, and the body of peer-reviewed literature supporting ExactVu now exceeds 140 published papers.
MolecuLight and The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust announced the publication of the first clinical study evaluating fluorescence imaging during orthopaedic surgery. The prospective 10-patient pilot extends MolecuLight's clinical evidence base beyond chronic wound care into perioperative surgical applications.
