ST. PAUL, Minn., Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- National childcare center operator and All Energy Solar client New Horizon Academy is installing their latest commercial solar rooftop array in Lincoln, Nebraska. With 94 panels projected to produce over 70,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually, New Horizon Academy will utilize the array's generation to provide clean power to their building everyday.

Investing in the Future Generation
This marks New Horizon Academy's fifth solar project in Nebraska, and their eighth across the United States completed with All Energy Solar. "We are excited to see our partnership expand with New Horizon Academy. Their leadership values the energy savings these systems deliver to their newest properties, setting those schools up to enjoy significantly reduced operating costs for decades to come," says Michael Thalhimer, Director of Business Development at All Energy Solar. Redirecting these utility costs to their mission of providing top-rated childcare and early childhood education is a win for their business and the families they serve.
Year-Round Use in the Midwest
"We're proud to be installing solar arrays on new schools for New Horizon Academy across Minnesota, Idaho, and Nebraska," Thalhimer continued. New Horizon Academy's new Lincoln school's array is their 5th Nebraska property to adopt solar, and is scheduled to be installed during the fall of 2026. Each New Horizon Academy solar installation takes about 4 weeks to complete before the utility company approves final connections of the system to the grid, providing clean and reliable power for the new school buildings. Even in the snowy Midwest, solar array systems can provide clean energy year-round. Solar panels are built to handle significant snow loads which typically slide off as the snow melts due to the panels' smooth, tilted surfaces. Just like early childhood education programs, solar energy production occurs every day the sun rises.
As one of the leading companies that install commercial solar panels in the United States, All Energy Solar provides full-service solar solutions for commercial, non-profit, agricultural, government, community, and residential customers seeking to switch to solar energy. With over 13,000 installations, All Energy Solar has the experience to design, install, and support your project. In addition to solar panels, All Energy Solar offers energy storage options, EV charging, smart panel monitoring, solar array service, and residential roofing.
