Take a peek at Kiefer Sutherland's charming, low-key L.A. home he just sold for $1.6 million

By Brittany Natale

The 1920s Tudor-style cottage is just 1,182 square feet.

Actor Kiefer Sutherland, famous for playing Jack Bauer in the popular television series "24," has found a buyer for his two-bedroom, two-bath Los Angeles home.

This adorable, 1,182-square-foot, single-level cottage sits in the inviting Atwater Village neighborhood.

According to Realtor.com property records, the perfectly appointed pad last changed hands in 2018 when it was scooped up for $1,155,000.

It returned to the market in September 2023, priced at $1,825,000, delisted, then put back up for the same amount in February 2024. In March, though, the price was sliced to $1,750,000.

That reduction did the trick - the home sold in April for $1,642,500.

Black-and-white facade

There's so much to love about this sweet home, with its chic black-and-white facade and bright yellow front door. A long driveway along a manicured lawn leads to the front entrance, which has a small stone patio.

Although this circa-1920s estate was recently updated, much of its original charm was preserved.

The spacious living room has arched doorways, oversized picture windows, a barrel ceiling, and a gas fireplace.

Through the living room is the den, which could be used as a formal dining room. It has a wall of windows and a sculptural light fixture.
