Amazon completes $4 billion investment in Anthropic

Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) said Wednesday it has completed a $4 billion investment in AI startup Anthropic. The e-commerce giant made an additional $2.75 billion investment in Anthropic in its pursuit to further advance generative AI. In September, Amazon invested $1.25 billion in Anthropic, which selected Amazon Web Services as its primary cloud provider.
