JD.com stock rises as e-commerce giant tops earnings estimates, while Alcon shares slip

Gainers
JD.com shares (JD) rose 4% as the Chinese e-commerce giant reported better earnings and revenue than forecast.
Sirius XM stock (SIRI) rose 3%. Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway bought nearly 10 million shares of the company during the third quarter, according to a regulatory filing.
VF Corp. shares (VFC) rose 2%, following a 10% rally on Tuesday. JPMorgan upgraded the clothing maker to neutral from underweight, saying new CEO Bracken Darrell has already executed four of the five turnaround tenets from his previous stint running Logitech.
Decliners
Alcon shares (ALC) fell 4% as the eye-care company reduced the top end of both its earnings and sales guidance for the year.
