For TJX Cos. Inc. (TJX), the table includes the company's own comparison of comparable-store sales for the first quarter of its fiscal 2024 ( ended April 29, 2023) with the first quarter of its Fiscal 2020 (ended May 4, 2019), to avoid a comparison with results that were distorted by store closures related to Covid-19.
