Rheinmetall to Supply Combat Vehicles to German, Dutch Armed Forces

Rheinmetall secured a contract to deliver Schakal wheeled infantry fighting vehicles to the German and Dutch armed forces.

The German defense group said it had received the order through Artec, a joint venture between Rheinmetall and KNDS Deutschland that will deliver 35 vehicles to Germany and 34 to the Netherlands. The order is valued in the medium three-digit million-euro range for Rheinmetall.

The company said the vehicles are expected to be delivered between May 2032 and November 2033.
