Celestica Lifts Outlook, Sees Accelerating Growth Through 2027 on AI Infrastructure Demand
By Elias Schisgall
Celestica lifted its outlook and expects revenue growth to accelerate through 2027 driven by intensifying demands for artificial-intelligence infrastructure.
The data center infrastructure company on Monday said it now expects full-year revenue of $21 billion, up $500 million from its previous outlook. It projected adjusted per-share earnings of $11.55, a 25-cent bump from its prior view.
Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting full-year revenue of $20.69 billion and adjusted earnings of $11.21 a share.
Celestica also issued guidance for 2027, projecting revenue of $40 billion and adjusted earnings of $21.50 a share. Analysts currently forecast $36.07 billion of revenue and $19.70 in adjusted earnings per share.
"Celestica is well-positioned to continue to support leading hyperscalers and frontier AI labs through the ongoing AI infrastructure supercycle," Chief Executive Officer Rob Mionis said. "The demand environment continues to be very robust, supporting our 2027 revenue outlook, with customer demand forecasts meaningfully higher for 2028."
Shares surged 17% to $288.07 in after-hours trading. The stock closed lower by 5% at $246.65, and is down 17% this year.
For the current fourth quarter, the company is guiding for adjusted earnings of between $3.37 and $3.57 a share on revenue between $6.275 billion and $6.575 billion.
Analysts currently expect fourth-quarter adjusted earnings of $3.51 a share on $6.44 billion in revenue.
The outlook comes as Celestica posted a profit of $397.2 million, or $3.26 a share, in the third quarter. That compares with a profit of $267.8 million, or $2.31 a share, a year earlier.
Adjusted earnings were $3.30 a share, beating analyst expectations for $2.99 a share.
Revenue grew to $5.83 billion, up from $3.19 billion a year prior. Analysts were expecting $5.49 billion.
