The Push to Oust Netanyahu Draws Thousands of Israeli Expats Home to Vote

After more than two years of war and running to shelters with their toddler and newborn son, Nadav Pollak and his wife left Israel for Toronto in July 2025.

Now Pollak, 41, is one of tens of thousands flying back to vote in Tuesday's elections, which many Israelis see as the most consequential in the country's history. Direct flights from Canada have been suspended because of hostilities in the Middle East. He paid $5,716 for three seats on a 14-hour journey with a stopover in Vienna-and says it was worth it.

Alaska Election Feud Gets Uglier as Blanche Defends Justice Department Action

Attorney General Todd Blanche offered a combative defense Sunday of the Justice Department's lawsuit seeking to block certification of Alaska's Senate race if the Republican candidate loses.

On CNN's "State of the Union," Blanche said the department filed the lawsuit Friday to prevent voters from being confused by a second Dan Sullivan, who Blanche alleged had been purposely added to the ballot to take votes away from the incumbent, Sen. Dan S. Sullivan.
