Alphabet's Google Cloud reported an outage in its London region Tuesday that disrupted online services for some U.K. banks.
Google Cloud said its europe-west2 region--listed on the company's website as London--had been experiencing multiple issues since 0608 GMT.
"Our engineering team continues to investigate the issue," Google Cloud said in an online service-status update. "We apologize to all who are affected by the disruption."
U.K. banks including Revolut and Lloyds reported disruption to their services.
Revolut services such as card payments, transfers, ATM withdrawals, currency exchange and stock trading were unavailable, according to the company's website.
"We are currently experiencing a service disruption affecting multiple services. We can confirm that all our customers' money and data are safe," a Revolut Bank spokesperson said.
"We've been working to fix the issue since it was identified this morning and apologize to anyone affected and for any inconvenience caused."
Lloyds said customers can log into its app normally, but that there have been issues with some online services.
"We are aware of similar issues affecting other organizations and are monitoring the situation closely," a Lloyds spokesperson said.
