SpaceX turned its first profit as a public company on soaring AI revenue. Chief Executive Elon Musk also said that special board committees at both SpaceX and Tesla have explored a tie-up between the two companies. SpaceX shares rose 8.3% to $160.00 in after-hours trading, while Tesla shares gained 1.5% to $379.37.

Netflix reported slowing revenue growth in the third quarter, following a round of major layoffs and the departures of two top content executives. The stock fell 5.6% to $64.87 after Tuesday's bell.

Super Micro Computer said it expects to report first-quarter revenues and gross margins well above its previous guidance, driven by increasing AI demand. The stock jumped 16% to $37.53.

Intuitive Surgical reported a lower third-quarter profit on a litigation charge, even as revenue and adjusted earnings exceeded Wall Street expectations. Shares fell 6.9% to $407.60.
