STMicroelectronics Extends Term of CEO Jean-Marc Chery for One Year

STMicroelectronics said its President and Chief Executive Officer Jean-Marc Chery has agreed to remain in post for an additional year.

The semiconductor manufacturer said Tuesday that the board had asked Chery to remain in the role, and will propose a vote on his reappointment for a one-year term at the company's 2027 annual general meeting.

Chery has headed up the company since May 2018.

STMicroelectronics said the extension reflects the importance of continuity of its strategy, execution discipline and the momentum achieved under his leadership.
