Hitachi Joins Anthropic's Critical Infrastructure Defense Program
By Kosaku Narioka
Hitachi has joined Anthropic's critical infrastructure defense program aimed at strengthening cyber defense.
The Japanese industrial company said it has joined the program as a founding partner.
Anthropic said Thursday that it was introducing the program, which brings frontier Claude models, on-site engineers and its threat research to trusted providers.
Besides Hitachi, the Anthropic program's founding partners include Accenture, CrowdStrike and PwC.
In May, Hitachi announced a strategic partnership with Anthropic, saying the companies aim to improve system engineering, operations and cybersecurity for critical infrastructure sectors such as energy, transportation, manufacturing and finance.
