Materials Up as Dollar Slips — Materials Roundup

Producers of metals, grains and other raw materials ticked up as the U.S. dollar gave back some of its recent gains.

Shares of dollar-sensitive commodities such as gold rose.

Corning, the maker of fiber optics and other specialty glass, tumbled by more than 6% after the Financial Times reported that OpenAI had cut its projections for annualized revenue.
