Pricing Seen as Meaningful Driver of Unilever's 3Q Growth — Market Talk
Unilever is expected to report organic sales growth of 5% for the third quarter, boosted by its Home Care and Beauty Wellbeing units, J.P. Morgan's Celine Pannut and Edward Hockin write. Home Care growth is seen at 8.2%, while Beauty Wellbeing is seen up 6.1%. Among the other units, the consumer-goods giant--which houses the Hellmann's and Dove brands among its portfolio--is expected to report Personal Care growth of 5.6% and Foods growth of 0.5%, they say. The analysts expect a potential beat on third quarter volumes with pricing becoming a meaning driver of growth--rises of 2.9% and 2.1% respectively. Unilever has an overweight rating on the stock and 57.00 pound target price. Shares closed at 45.00 pounds Monday and are down 7.4% over the year-to-date. (ian.walker@wsj.com)
