Air Liquide Targets Sales, Margin Growth Under 2030 Plan
By Adam Whittaker
Air Liquide said it is targeting sales growth and higher margins under a new strategic plan through 2030.
The industrial gasses company said Monday that it wants to grow net earnings per share by a compound annual growth rate of 10% over the period, from the 6.1 euros it reported for 2025.
This will be supported by annual compound sales growth of 5% and a 400 to 600 basis point improvement in its margin, the company said. Recurring return on capital employed is targeted above 11% in 2030.
Alongside dividend growth, Air Liquide said it will launch a 4 billion euros share buyback, equivalent to $4.50 billion, over the 2027-2028 period.
The company has set a capital budget of over 40 billion euros through 2030, with more than half of this earmarked for industrial investments and strategic acquisitions, it said.
