Cardinal Health Extends Distribution Agreement With CVS Health, Backs Fiscal Year Guidance

By Kelly Cloonan

Cardinal Health is extending its existing distribution agreement with CVS Health, paving the way for it to continue supplying drugs to the healthcare giant's pharmacies.

The pharmaceuticals and specialty products distributor also on Thursday backed its guidance for adjusted earnings per share to grow 13% to 15% this fiscal year and at a rate of 12% to 14% in the long term.

Under a binding letter of intent, Cardinal will continue to provide its current scope of distribution services to CVS Health through June 30, 2032, the company said.
