Bayer Promotes Christoph Koenen to Chief Medical Officer

Bayer said it appointed Christoph Koenen, head of clinical development and operations of its pharmaceuticals division, to the role of chief medical officer.
The German agricultural-and-pharmaceutical group said Thursday that Koenen, who joined the company in 2022, would be in charge of medical and scientific strategies across the organization and add those responsibilities to his current role.
