PRA Group Shares Fall After Proposed $400 Million Senior Notes Offering

PRA Group shares were down after the company disclosed plans to offer $400 million of senior notes due 2033 in a private transaction.
The stock was 5% lower, at $19.05, in midday trading Tuesday. Despite today's decline shares are 19% higher in the past 12 months.
The financial company said the notes will be guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by each of its existing and future domestic subsidiaries that is a borrower or guarantor under its North American credit agreement.
PRA Group said it intends to use the proceeds from the offering and available cash to repay $400 million of its outstanding borrowings under its North American revolving credit facility.
