Chaince Digital Shares Rise After Warrant Buyback, Cancellation
By Chris Wack
Chaince Digital Holdings shares rose after the company said it entered into and closed transactions under a warrant repurchase cancellation and release agreement with holders of the warrants issued in a private placement priced on Nov. 30, 2023.
The stock was 7% higher, at $4.60, in premarket trading.
The digital finance and technology company said the agreement was executed and the transaction closed on Sept. 21.
Under the agreement, the company repurchased and permanently canceled all of the warrants held by the holders for cash consideration of $2 million. No shares were issued in the transaction, and none of the warrants had been exercised.
Following the cancellation, the company said it has no warrants outstanding.
