Adyen appointed Niclas Neglen, who joins from online-payments company Klarna, as its next Chief Financial Officer.
The Amsterdam-based payments provider said Tuesday that Neglen's appointment would take effect from Feb. 1.
Neglen has served as CFO at Klarna and, previously, as CFO and COO for the EMEA region at HSBC Private Bank, where he led strategic corporate finance and operational transformation across the region.
He also spent more than a decade at General Electric in senior financial leadership roles across multiple global business units, Adyen said.
The appointment is subject to regulatory and shareholder approval.
