Smart-Ring Maker Oura Sets IPO Terms That Could Push Market Cap Above $14 Billion

Oura unveiled terms of a planned initial public offering that could give the smart-ring maker an initial market capitalization topping $14 billion.
Oura on Monday said it plans to sell 13.5 million shares at between $40 and $44 apiece in the IPO, which would yield net proceeds of around $532.6 million at the $42 midpoint.
Oura said current investors, including Forerunner Ventures and Lifeline Ventures, plan to sell an additional 36.5 million shares in the IPO, bringing the size of the offering to 50 million shares.
Oura said it would have more than 320.9 million shares outstanding after the IPO, for a market capitalization of around $14.12 billion at the $44-a-share high end of the expected price range.
The company said drugmaker Eli Lilly has indicated an interest in buying up to $100 million worth of stock in the IPO, while Dragoneer Investment Group has indicated an interest in buying up to $300 million in stock.
Oura said it has applied to list its shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol OURA.
