Kering Appoints Sophie Maddaloni as General Secretary

Kering named insider Sophie Maddaloni as general secretary.

Maddaloni, whose appointment takes effect immediately, takes a seat on the executive committee, reporting to Chief Operating Officer Jean-Marc Duplaix. She joined Kering in 2017 and served as the group's tax director.

The French luxury company said Tuesday that Maddaloni oversees the legal, internal control, internal audit and security departments, and that she will be working closely with executive management and the board of directors.

"Drawing on solid experience gained within major international groups, Sophie Maddaloni brings recognized expertise in legal affairs, governance and organizational transformation," Kering said.
