Shares of banks and other financial institutions fell as Treasury yields closed at multiyear highs, raising the stakes for next week's Federal Reserve meeting.

Rogo Technologies, the investment-banking artificial-intelligence service already used by JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and other major banks, signed deals for a fresh round of strategic investments totaling roughly $30 million.
