DHL Officially Changes Listed Name From Deutsche Post
By Dominic Chopping
DHL Group has completed its corporate reorganization, changing its official listed parent company name from Deutsche Post AG to DHL AG.
The German logistics company said DHL AG assumes responsibility for the strategic management, governance, and cross-divisional functions of the globally operating group, while the Post & Parcel Germany unit is managed as a separate legal entity.
Germany's mail and parcel business will continue to operate under the Deutsche Post name, which remains a subsidiary of DHL AG.
"The new corporate structure approved by the Annual General Meeting aligns the group's legal organization more closely with its international business footprint," the company said in a statement.
