The clinical-stage biotechnology company said the FDA cleared its investigational new drug application for ADI-212, a treatment for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. The company said it plans to initiate Phase 1 enrollment in the fourth quarter.

"ADI-212 marks an important milestone in Adicet's strategy to address the complexity of solid tumors and represents an important addition to our portfolio of allogeneic gamma delta 1 cell therapies and in vivo CAR T programs," Chief Scientific Officer Blake Aftab said.

Shares of Adicet gained 3.8% to $9.35 in after-hours trading on Thursday. The Stock closed up 0.7% at $9.01, up 7% this year.
