KKR-Backed Industrial Physics Acquires Vitrek from Branford Castle Partners

Industrial Physics acquired Vitrek, a provider of electronic test and precision measurement equipment, from a fund managed by Branford Castle Partners.
Industrial Physics; a packaging, material, and coating test and measurement group backed by KKR-affiliated investment funds; said Wednesday the deal brings differentiated technologies and deep technical expertise while expanding its reach into several attractive industries.
Vitrek designs and manufactures electrical safety testing equipment, power analyzers, engine vibration balancing systems and precision measurement instruments for customers in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, medical device and other industries.
The transaction closed upon signing. The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the deal.
