EQT Agrees to Buy European Logistics Portfolio For $610 Million
By Dominic Chopping
STOCKHOLM--Swedish buyout group EQT agreed to buy a portfolio of 14 European logistics properties from Logicor for 532 million euros ($610.1 million).
The portfolio comprises around 457,000 square meters of logistics space, fully leased to a mix of retail, e-commerce, logistics and industrial occupiers, located in major distribution markets with access to key transport networks and population centers.
Eight assets are in the U.K., four in Germany, and two in France.
"The acquisition further strengthens EQT Real Estate's European logistics platform, adding scale across established distribution corridors and major consumption centers," the company said.
The transfer of U.K. assets has been completed, while completion of the German and French assets transfers remain subject to customary closing conditions.
