RTX Unit Gets $1.8 Billion Modification to Navy Contract

By Elias Schisgall

RTX unit Raytheon Missiles and Defense received a $1.81 billion modification to a contract for the U.S. Navy.

The fixed-price incentive, firm-fixed-price, and cost-only modification to the contract covers hardware production for the AN/SPY6(V) Family of Radars, the Navy said Monday.

Work is expected to be completed by July 2031, with the possibility that it will continue through October of that year if all options under the modified contract are exercised.
