Arteris Shares Rise After Expansion of Partnership With Arm Holdings
By Grace Yoon
Shares of Arteris rose after the semiconductor-technology company said it would expand its partnership with Arm Holdings to enhance security assurance for processor core development.
Arteris stock was up 3.9% to $34.06 in recent trading, and has more than doubled since the start of this year.
Under the expanded agreement, Arm, a U.K.-based semiconductor-and-software company, will continue to integrate Arteris's Cycuity Radix technology, Arteris said.
Arteris Chief Executive K. Charles Janac said that by leveraging Arteris technology, Arm is building more rigorous security assurance, as semiconductor cybersecurity is rapidly becoming a part of securing electronic systems, including data centers.
