Infineon Scores Win In Patent Case Against Innoscience
By Mauro Orru
Infineon Technologies said a German court ruled in its favor in a patent case against Chinese company Innoscience.
The German chip maker said a district court in Munich ordered Innoscience to pay unspecified damages to Infineon over what the company said is the unauthorized use of its patented gallium nitride technology for the production of semiconductors.
Innoscience didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. The company had previously denied Infineon's infringement allegations.
Infineon also said the court prohibited Innoscience from manufacturing, selling and marketing certain products in Germany that violate Infineon's patents.
