By Dean Seal

Nu Holdings has hired a former Visa executive to be its chief financial officer.

The Brazil-based fintech company said Monday that Rob Livingston will join the C-suite, taking over for Guilherme Lago as he transitions to special adviser.

Lago had been CFO for the past five years and with the company for seven years.

Livingston most recently was CFO of Visa's North America segment. He has also worked as CFO of Visa's Europe unit, and previously spent 18 years at Capital One.
